JADOT, Maurice.
Maurice Jadot Belgium 1893-1983
Sculptor and printmaker, born in Brussels and studied Architecture at the Academie Royale des Beaux Arts in 1910-1914 under Professor Victor Horta. He was in the Belgium Army in 1914-1919, but moved to England in 1919 and lived there ever since. He reappeared as an artist in 1953 and was a founder member and Fellow of The Free Painters group.
