This month’s featured artist is Harold Cohen. I have just purchased a large collection of his work from the mid 1960’s. These prints reflect the 1960 movement and were made at the same time when David Hockney, Allen Jones, Peter Blake and their peer group were emerging from the Royal College into figurative and Pop Art movement.
During the mid 1960’s, Harold Cohen was at the height of his profession representing Great Britain at the Venice Biennale, having Solo shows in London etc. All the prints that we have for sale are also represented in the Tate Gallery Collection.
